Setup Internal Slack Notifications in HubSpot
In this video, we will cover how to setup internal slack notifications in HubSpot, so you can get internal notifications as soon as they happen.
Here are the steps:
- Navigate to Marketplaces > App Marketplace then search Slack and click Install app. Select the workspace you want to connect the app to, and then you can locate the installed Slack app by navigating to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps.
- You can also get to the app marketplace by navigating to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps > Visit app marketplace.
- To create a workflow for the internal notification, navigate to Automations > Workflows > Create workflow and select a type of workflow (will most likely need to be Contact-based).
- Choose a trigger. Select the Send Slack notification action and fill in the information about which user, channel, and/or owner to send the notification to. Write a message and add any properties you would like to include in the message.
- When you are done setting up the workflow, click Review and publish and fill in the required fields.
